Just thought I would post and see if anyone else was interested, as it would be great to see a lot of Zeds on track at a low price of $150.

Would be great to see lots of Zs on the 8th but I'll be running my Z there a few days later on the SCCA Vintage weekend that follows and can't be away to do both. Bummer. Wish it was on Friday. Didn't see any firm commitment yet by HOD for the 8th event, however.

It looks like Hooked on Driving has the track reserved from 9/8 to 9/10, but yeah, no mention of the 9/8 event on their site. Unfortunately that is also the middle of the week and a couple days before JCCS. Another time maybe

Hooked on Driving has confirmed looks like we will be running with Mini's:

Hey guys…this is going to the 5 Z drivers who responded with interest in the program on the 8th. Good news – we’re on – with one twist…we had anticipated three groups; Z cars, Minis and a private sports car club from Lincoln. Well – the numbers say we put the Z and Mini gang together…almost all with some experience…in one group of around 16 cars (5 Z’s and 11 Mini’s)….the third group will be our HOD coaches getting some pay back track time. I cannot guarantee a coach for this group…but we can do lead and follow and the group will be responsibly managed….if there are any cars that are too fast, we’ll move them to the coaches group….still $150 bring your own lunch or buy there….6 20 minute sessions….small groups….should be cool!! If you are a go, I’ve attached the off-line entry form for you to complete – please do so, with cc info and expiration date and fax to number on bottom of form….plan on being there at 7:15am and having a blast…tech sheet also attached – bring that with..….david

@70_Cam_Guy I will also be heading down to JCCS. Not showing my car (needs paint) but at least checking things out. Yeah I was luck enough that we were wrapping up a project here and I can get some comp time back.

Sure, I would love to convoy, but it depends on when you guys are leaving as Ill probably be heading down to LA earlier to help a friend move and hopefully do some diving in Catalina.

Were gonna take the Rally Style route too Lake Pilsbury then Forest Route from there to the track... and probably have more fun getting there then being there as i will be runnin my 72 sht brown "rat z" and wearing a dust mast...my wife will be there too, she drives a white silverado and will probably be towing a brown 72 240z. hope you see us?

Sounds like a blast. I wish I could be there too but the Z is still not back together. Parts delays, work, school and home maintenance are all working against me. Damnit! I'll get this friggin car one the road one of these days. I'm not defeated yet.
