This is not the car I started with, but is a relatively rust free beater I hauled up from Phoenix, Arizona, where the paint and upholstery had baked for decades.

I would not recommend that. I have alway used white lithium. You can get it in tube or spray. I prefer the tube if you can reach where it needs to go.

+1  you can also get it in a tub. i use an acid brush to apply it
