I have a an early 71 dash that's complete that I'm thinking about giving away with a car I'm selling. It has one pretty decent sized crack in the top, otherwise is good to fair condition. Is an early dash worth anything after it's cracked?

Yes, it's always worth something for the core but it will cost the new owner about a grand to get it recapped (including shipping). I actually need a series 1 core and I am in Hudson WI.

The gages are worth a little money, especially if the speedo starts at 20 mph, not 0. Also, the dash wiring harness and long pigtail fuse block if in good shape are worth something.

What they are worth is pretty much dictated by the market and what someone is willing to pay.

If you want to get rid of the dash I would need a picture of the area by the hazard switch so I could see the indents and the empty spot above the hazard switch.

Let me know if you want any more info.

OK. Thanks for the info. It came out of a rusted to nothing car and is complete.

BTW, I have one that is not cracked as well, but again is in good to fair condition & incomplete. PM me if your interested or want pictures of either.
