Posted November 20, 200222 yr comment_19414 I spotted this car from mobile.de price 800€ By my standards that is a bargain... I dont know what the price range in deutchland is. In Finland you would be lucky to get engine with that money!! If it just would be situated in northern deutchland....Kiel or Wismar would be nice... November 20, 200222 yr comment_19440 Hello Otso I never found this car on mobile, but for me the picture shows a plate of the City Heinsberg. This is in the middle on the border to Netherlands. So directly between Rolf and me (45km).BUT for me this car looks like a 2+2 and 800€ sound s fair.A 2 seater will be much higer, but you will not find him too often. At the moment you get a similar car with plenty parts on ebay for 250€.Most of the time you find disassembled cars somewhere in the backyard. What are you you looking for ?cheers Rainer Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/3687-260z-deutschland/#findComment-19440 Share on other sites
November 21, 200222 yr Author comment_19486 Actually I am only interested to buy another z as a donator and as a project which I could modify. The car should be 2 seater offcourse and driveable(registered). I would pick it up and drive back home:) small adventure...It depends on timing ie wether or not I have the money at the time that suitable car comes around?! Itäs all about the money..damdida .... I know that these cars are somewhat cheap in the states and on ebay...But it is the Finnish tax laws and customs. I have to pay vat twice when I bring a used car to country. I have to pay 30% tax of the full purchasing price and wreight added together for over 25 yeras old cars. So if a car costs about 800€ in L.A (where my cousin lives and works with classics) It would cost over1000€ to ship it to Finland. With customs, tax and vats the total would be around 5000€!! I is a bit difficult to explain!! I made a calculator to exel one day...Then I decided that the timing was not right! Well there are some cases in EU-court about Finnish taxation on cars both used and new. November 21, 200222 yr comment_19494 Thanks Rainer,if the first 2 digits are MS the car is in Muenster, if it is HS the car is registered in Heinsberg. In my understanding it is a 2+2, the front spoiler is aftermarket and the airbrush on the hood is "selfmade". So I would argue that there might have happened something to the front. Also the surrounding seems suspect to me. I would never picture a well maintained car in that way. Nevertheless, what counts are frames without rust and the technical parts like engine, tranny, diff and so on. In the end you must see and drive the car to judge the price, but to me at the first glimpse it looks suspect and not worth 800 €.A 240Z - 260Z two seater is rare here in Germany and , 260Z, I can't imagine that you will find a driveable one for less than 2500€.Rolf Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/3687-260z-deutschland/#findComment-19494 Share on other sites
