Posted August 29, 201014 yr comment_329430 So ive got this thread on Classic Skylines forum but seeing this is the actual home of the 240k ill put a version up here, Im currently having a mad scramble to get it going for the nats. Next week ill start from the start. Its a 1975 C110(240k) coupe Auto With Ac AM/FM Tape Deck (Not working) Quiet a Highly Optioned Vehicle For the Day. I brought it for parts to make restore My Other C110 Coupe, -Several Shades Of red Mid 1973 4Sped Manual. But after Pulling this white one off the Trailer and looking at how dirty it was i had to wash it, And after a Wash i found that it was about 300% better than the one it was meant to be Getting Pulled apart for, So i decided to restore it, back to as close to original as i could. 14inch Steel Wheels and all. Ive had it for over 2 years now, It came with a Very warped head, i started doing the body work mostly myself reading and learning from the internet. not always a great idea, but it has been a learning curve. Ill let some Photos do the talking That was 2 years ago, Now 3 heads later im finally getting some movement on the coupe, For the First time in about 2 years, i have had a Whole weekend to do car stuff, well till about 5pm Each night, so i took advantage of this and had a cracker of a weekend. So like i said, This is the THIRD head, for the car. Pulled of a running motor, complete L24 no stuffing around, New head Gasket and any other gaskets ive pulled off I raided my Mystery Datsun Parts Box's which i brought off EBAY about 5 years ago full of random NOS, got some bits i could use on the L24 and heaps of other stuff i dont know what is/what its for. Borrowed a Toquewrench got some New Blades, Spark Plugs, Oil And Filters. Also Just got in yesterday, New Water Pump and New thermoStat The interior is nearly all back together, Put a New(secondhand) Center console in, Also a Working AM/FM Datsun radio And Tape Deck, so i can listen to something on the way up to the Nats, Have One New Passenger Door Trim but i doubt i will use it, as i cant bring myself to pull it out of the Wrapping. Body Wise its looking Better but Crappier than the last photos,AT THE SAME TIME!!! No Dents now, but lots of Primer which needs to be sanded and Reapplied, Now need to get some new 14inch tyres, And get this Bastard running ASAP!!! ill try and get some more photos soon,. Also Anyone have Fast with c110's listed?? Mine does not Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/36929-mastadds-was-it-a-good-idea-coupe/ Share on other sites
