September 1, 201014 yr comment_329754 I thought it was pronounced"Joisey".That's a New Yorker accent when they pretend to be a Jersey man. September 1, 201014 yr comment_329756 They wish they were Jersey men!V8.......Ugh!But welcome none the less. You should find a ton of info on the Z here, and maybe you can be 'converted' and see the light to go back to the original L-series.Either way, welcome! September 1, 201014 yr comment_329760 Hybridz.org will be more appreciative of the V8 swap. The people there (including me) are all about making the cars faster. I'm putting a 5.3L in my Series I, VIN 4396. I put a cage in it and it's getting huge flares and 15x14 wheels in the back. Makes some of the people here want to cry. It's going to be AWESOME! September 7, 201014 yr comment_330126 I'm in the area of NJ without exit numbers, the great NW Skylands region. If the NJ Z club has a meeting in September, I'm gonna do my best to make it. September 10, 201014 yr Author comment_330487 does anybody know a good z mechanic in central jersey? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/36959-new-z-owner-from-jerzzzzzzzzzzzzy/#findComment-330487 Share on other sites
September 10, 201014 yr comment_330502 The problem is, you no longer have a Z. Once you swap-out the engine the expertise of the Z mechanic does little to help you. Your best bet is to find someone that knows your conversion is over at hybridz.com Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/36959-new-z-owner-from-jerzzzzzzzzzzzzy/#findComment-330502 Share on other sites
