Anybody know how to open up this bad boy? I'd really like to clean it up!

The fuel filter should be mounted in the engine compartment on the right fender, right next to the carbon canister. If memory serves, it's about twice the dia of the fuel damper. You can buy a replacement filter for about $12 at your local auto parts store.
