Posted September 6, 201014 yr comment_330073 I was just wondering how rare colour is the limegreen or lemon and lime in 240z's? My Zee is currently painted in orange but it was originally limegreen. There is a little voice in my head that repeats "paint it lime..." but im not sure yet. What is the colourcode on that?cheerz Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/37002-how-rare-is-limegreen-240zs/ Share on other sites
September 6, 201014 yr comment_330081 I believe the answer from our forum experts will be that no one knows how rare any color is, since the factory did not keep detailed production records, as was common with American cars of the era. You can only go by how many you see today, and that means little, since people were constantly changing colors on their cars. September 6, 201014 yr comment_330105 Mine was lime but I painted it red because the wife said she hated the color. I think lime is a PERFECT color for the car. It fits the era and look of the car very well. Next time I repaint it's going back to lime. September 9, 201014 yr comment_330444 Corvair turbo muffler. In the 70's, it was supposed to be the most free flowing muffler available. Old habits die hard! September 10, 201014 yr comment_330507 I am biased to....I have a vintage (1 of the 37 restored z's) 240Z in the lemon/lime color and I love it. It did however take me awhile to get used to it but it certainly is a color of the time and fairly rare. When I was at the convention this year Dennis Gage (My Classic Car fame) saw it and proclaimed that this color was the color to have if you own a 240!!JTMader Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/37002-how-rare-is-limegreen-240zs/#findComment-330507 Share on other sites
