PO installed an oversized sway bar, but the center section of the bar is about an inch or two too narrow. As a result, the area where the sb bends backwards towards the links is directly under the frame, and the bar is smacking the bottom of the frame.

Mechanic has suggested a 3/8 - 1/2 inch spacer to pull the sway bar down and away from the frame, and offered to machine a pair for $100. Seemed a bit much for two aluminum blocks with holes drilled in them, so I poked around the typical vendor websites but could not find anything.

Has anyone come across something similar?

Thanks,

Tony
