Advice needed

I need to replace the drivers door window winding mechanism. I have strong doubts that I will be able to source a NEW Datsun part and I don't want a USED part as it will no doubt suffer from wear and tear.

I'm hoping that one of you Zed Car Gurus would have solved the problem.

Actually, you can find new window regulator parts at jdm-car-parts dot com, but it will cost you. Check this page:
