Wondering if anybody has purchased the DATSUN 240Z WORKSHOP REPAIR SERVICE MANUAL ON CD off of eBay? Is it what it says it is? Is it easy to use, and easy to read? For $14.95, there's not much to lose.

I just can't see it being a 'Factory Workshop Manual' if it covers multiple years. They also sell one for 75-83 280z/zx. More likely a Haynes/Chilton type thing. Not worth $14.95 to me if that's the case.

For a lot less you could download the manuals from www.XenonS30.com and burn your own CD.

Just a thought.

Xenon doesn't have the 70 or 71 FSM or the 71,72,74 or 75 owners manuals at the present time however.

Carfiche.com appears to be down at the moment, but they had the 72 manual for sure. that is where I got mine.

The book "How to Rebuild Your Nissan & Datsun OHC Engine" by Tom Monroe is a good one as is the L20A, L24 factory service manual that I've linked here:

Hello, Yes I did just receive this exact CD for the 240Z and it IS A REPRODUCTION OF THE NISSAN factory original service manuals BOTH THE ENGINE and the BODY SERVICE MANUAL which you can pull up page by page and print out what you need.

Also has a handy index on the left edge to speed you to the various chapters....NO CHILTONS REPROS HERE!!!!!

Also contains the Owners Manuals for several years too.

Well worth the price!!!!!

It has reproduction of each of the Factory Service Manuals? 1970-1971-1972-1973? If that is so, I stand corrected and will order one because that will complete my collection.

The Chassis and Engine Workshop Manuals included are for 1970-1971 along with two combined Engine, Body and Chassis Workshop Manuals versions for both 1972 and 1973 cars. Also has 240Z and 260Z Fuel System Performance Modification Manual for 1973 and 1974 printed by Nissan in August 1975. Glenn
