Does anyone have a list of the parts that were originally yellow cadmium or silver zinc plated? I have been given a box of fasteners, clamps, latches, etc. which have all been yellow plated.

I have been trying to locate photos of a period correct 240Z to determine the correct finish/color. (For example, many of the refreshed 240Zs I have seen have a yellow hose clamps, which I think should have been silver.)

I am not sure if a list for this exists. You are correct on the clamps, they should be silver zinc. Other silver zinc items are the door catches and door bolts that hold the window frame (10mm with Phillips center). The coil bracket on my '70 was silver zinc-though I believe some models are yellow. The two hatch door 'bumps' (sorry I don't know correct term) are also silver zinc. There may be more, but this is what I can remember off the top of my head.

Here find attached original image of a NOS fuel hose clamp set. Note yellow zinc plating.

On the silver vs gold on hose clamps the small size on the vent tank 4/71 build was silver the rest were gold. The remaining original clamps were gold including under the dash.

Before y'all get into a scrap about the plating color of hose clamps...they were both...depending on year and design type. Early hose clamps, like on Her Majesty the 26th are silver zinc.
