Posted October 24, 201014 yr comment_334234 Doing last few items on a major rebuild, problem is my passenger side headlight doesn't work and high beams don't work. Both lights illuminate very dimly with driver side fuse out (it was blown) but with good fuses pass side is dark. All other lights work. High beams don't work at all, that sounds like the switch, but the dark pass side is a mystery (maybe not, you guys are good,). Any ideas? Ooops, Sorry, 78 280. October 24, 201014 yr comment_334236 FWIW, I had a similar issue on my 240Z and it turned out to be a loose/old/bad connection in the fuse block pigtails. A disconnect/reconnect solve it. October 24, 201014 yr comment_334240 It definately sounds like a ground issue, at least in part. Experience tells me that dim lights are from poor grounds and another circut is grounding through the headlights. Check all the connectors and be sure the ground wires at the eyes where they attach to sheet metal are getting solid connections.
