October 30, 201014 yr comment_334657 The usual spots would be the frame rails, floor boards, battery tray, etc. I'd definitely request pics of these areas. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/37515-hey/#findComment-334657 Share on other sites

November 4, 201014 yr Author comment_335111 thanks for the welcome denner, ive seen some 83s that had analog and some digital, though ive never checked the VINs to be certain- ill assume the digital guages are more problematic though i think theyre cool Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/37515-hey/#findComment-335111 Share on other sites
November 4, 201014 yr comment_335153 I had an 85 300ZX with digital dash and the main part of the gauges went out and the replacement new cost was $800 if memory serves either that or that is what I paid at the salvage yard. I decided I didn't want expensive items on a car after that. The gauges were rather novel though and I enjoyed that part of the car. I like computer graphical things.
