No problems there. I've also cleared up some of my terminology from the last post. Okay so if you follow the rod down to the door lock lever (4 - on the picture), there is a small adjusting nut (3 - on the picture). This nut looks to be the root of my problem. Somehow it slid up the rod after dislodging itself from its original position from right atop the the door lock lever. So my question is how does one adjust or loosen this adjusting nut? The rod doesn't look threaded so I'm kinda lost why it's called a nut and on how I can position this nut back where it should be. Also number 5 on the picture is the retaining clip which is probably there to help prevent the nut from sliding up which in my case didn't do its job. January 20, 201114 yr comment_342724 Part #5 in the picture in post 25, is THREADED. You adjust it just like you would a nut.If it is "broke" it would just slide back down the rod. January 20, 201114 yr comment_342745 If your talking about the plastic piece the help me section has a set of various parts that has it. If your talking the metal part you need a new handle. Even #21 adds to it somewhat.I would think that 19 posts describing how to overcome the problem would enlighten you that EVERYONE has figured out what you broke, AND has given you a way to fix it.Or is there something else going on???E Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/37799-door-handle/?&page=3#findComment-342765 Share on other sites
