Posted November 28, 201014 yr comment_337217 This may be a re-post. My apologies if so. Saw this Z on another forum. Not very practical but looks great IMO. I love the stance and the wheels. My kind of S30.http://fatlace.com/slammedsociety/hellaflush/miguel-soria’s-260z/ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/37805-nice-slammed-260z/ Share on other sites
November 28, 201014 yr comment_337219 Are there any speed humps in SoCal? I wouldn't make it out of the driveway with that car. I think my mower deck sits higher. Looks cool, not real world functional, ya think. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/37805-nice-slammed-260z/#findComment-337219 Share on other sites

November 28, 201014 yr Author comment_337222 I can't believe in the article it says he drove 4 hours to the shoot. Must have been a rough ride. Although I have to admit, my best friend's Lexus GS300 is slammed to the ground with coilovers and it rides great!! November 28, 201014 yr comment_337225 Ah, not for me. I don't like the look. However, there's some really good photography on that page. Kudos to the photog! As I was looking through the shots, I was thinking, "Damn, this is some good stuff. Looks professional." Sure enough, it is. November 28, 201014 yr comment_337230 It is a little low, but otherwise I like it.(OK, maybe a lot low...) I still like it. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/37805-nice-slammed-260z/#findComment-337230 Share on other sites
November 28, 201014 yr comment_337259 Even for me that's real low but hey not my ride and the work done on the car looks good. Would like to see more shots of everything else (suspension, engine bay, etc.). Those flares sure seem to give an added illusion of how low the car is. I would also like the photographer to shoot my car as well. Nice job! Did anyone notice the air dam being deflected at speed? Love the wheels.... November 29, 201014 yr comment_337294 A lot of these guys drive their cars even this low. I drove to Buttonwillow on Friday (4 hours each way) and saw that Yuta was also at the event in his car. If you recall he has the other famous slammed Z. He's also in the bay area so he drove almost as far as I did for the event though he didn't drive the track. This car is pretty clean, I would hope it looks just as clean under the hood. The wheels and styling are certainly not for everyone though.Fatlace, Speed hunters and Motor Mavens usually have some good photography of cars. November 30, 201014 yr comment_337428 That is the same car, just a different paint job.The car does not have a clean engine bay. It is rolling art, that is all. His welds are atrocious and he clearly went after form before function (he admits it). I saw this car at JCCS in both forms (2009 and 2010).I think the car looks great. Given that he acknowledges that he built the car for the look and makes no pretense about it is commendable. November 30, 201014 yr comment_337429 That is the same car, just a different paint job.Unless Yuta got a new car, this is a different car from his. I saw Yuta and car on Friday at Buttonwillow and the week before at the Fatlace WordUp gymkhana event. The paint has changed again since jccs though. But yes, his focus was style.I don't remember seeing the blue 260 at JCCS but I never did make it into the parking lot. We drove in the show from the hotel and never ventured into the lotMaybe I misinterpreted this though Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/37805-nice-slammed-260z/#findComment-337429 Share on other sites
