November 29, 200222 yr Author comment_20020 Thanks for the reply peterc! What build date is your 72 240Z? What is the original color? Have you chaged it durring the restoration? Mine is 11/71, Metallic blue, not restored (yet, some day I know to do it!) November 29, 200222 yr comment_20023 Hey Bambi Mine was built in 02/72 and the original paint was that pukey fluorescent yellow. It was repainted white at the time of delivery (white was not a Datsun option that year) by the original owner. I'm painting it metallic blue (base/clear), or will be, in the spring. I've pulled all the glass, doors, hood, hatch, etc. to be sure and get everything done right . April 16, 200321 yr Author comment_34152 On the dash near the cigarette lighter. See pictures in previous posts for a pre 1973 switch. 1973 switches are of a push/pull type located in the same area. April 16, 200321 yr comment_34170 Anyone know what's involved in installing them? I know from around 76-77 here in AUs we got a Hazard switch. It's pretty useful to have especially when wiring up an alarm system so that the indicators blink when u lock her.I've always wanted a Hazard Switch :classic: . BTW mines a 72 also. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/3787-which-hazard-switch-for-a-1972-240z/#findComment-34170 Share on other sites
