OK heres a interesting question. Are the rubbers used in the Repo Braided water hoses the sames as the rubber used in the lets say the Evap Canister gas tank hose in the back of the 240Z?

I am thinking because its so hard to find braided hoses to use something that is close. Or well the Evap hose break under the hear, water and pressure of the cooling system?

Any thoughts???

Different hoses according to the factory (Nissan's OEM hose company in Japan)

Brake master hoses are made of same typr of rubber as vapor hoses by the way.

You might be OK using the rear vent lines for coolant. How ever what are you planning to do the new braided water lines covers everything, but three small pieces? The line from heater valve to heater core (~4"), and the pieces from the rear tube behind the engine to carbs, then the one carbs to thermostat. I have heard people using areoquip (sp?) hose to closely match the old lines. The ones that bring the bigest problem are the vacuum lines that I would not use the fuel or water lines for.

I am buying 2 sets of new Repo braided hoses for the water and makes the other hoses I need with the extra hoses. Just there a couple of small diameter hoses that I cant find anywhere.

You might want to talk to a performance shop.

Note the Starlight hose

Note they have several lines that look similar.

Summit Racing sells the lines also, but I think you need to buy 5' minimums

Rerpoduction braided hoses are made by the same Nissan OEM company. Except for much improved quality of the material and technology they use, they are just like the original ones. Currently we are working on master brake vacuum hose set (series 1 and series 2), and hoses around intsake manifold including air pump hoses.(those ones never existed on Japanese spec car, by the parts were made in Japan)

Fantastic!

Both of my Brake hoses are shot and need replacing! I have looked all around and I would have to modify a different hose to come close to replace the manifold to check valve hose. Do you have any idea when these well be ready for sale?

Also, the two water hoses for each end of the intake manifold. One is straight and 3 inches long the other is the Thermostat Housing to Manifold Hose. Its a double bend and small diameter. They were braided but are no longer available. Are these going to be on the list of making any time soon?
