Posted January 1, 201114 yr comment_340481 Hi there,I have been going through my boxes of parts in preparation for dash reassembly and have come across a couple of map light frames. I am referring to the black outer frame. One has a small lip across the top of the frame above the clear lens and the other one doesn't. Did the first years have plane frames? Thanks.Carl Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/38106-map-light-frame/ Share on other sites
January 1, 201114 yr comment_340485 Carl,The flat one is correct for a 1970. They added the hood on series two cars I think. On the early cars like yours it would have been made of grey plastic too (to match the radio face plate, and heater control panel).-Mike Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/38106-map-light-frame/#findComment-340485 Share on other sites
