Posted January 7, 201114 yr comment_341161 Hello All, Just wanted to introduce myself since I just signed up...long overdue I own a 1971 240Z that is in the middle of restomod project, which has been slightly slowed down due to impending marriage haha. Anyway I have seen so much good reading material from this forum, and hoping to share some as well with you all. January 12, 201114 yr Author comment_341756 Thank you for the kind words everyone. Im from the east bay, over by Walnut Creek. Here are some pictures of the current state the car is in. I got the car a little over a year ago and have been slowly working on it. This year I should have a lot more free time to finish up the exterior. January 12, 201114 yr comment_341758 Definitely looks like a workable project. I'm really digging those wheels! Looks like you got an authentic set of original JDM Black Fender Mirrors. Hope you can get her on the road sometime soon! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/38166-new-member/#findComment-341758 Share on other sites
January 12, 201114 yr Author comment_341767 Thanks Glenn! It was road worthy, and it pains me every day that I cannot drive her around with bare metal exposed haha. Im checking out your blog, and I remember hearing about your Fairlady Z from my friend Ivan. Very very very very very nice find, and im happy you rescued it! January 12, 201114 yr comment_341807 Hey, looks like you have a good foundation, if the body is good everything else is fixable. By the way did you do anything changes to the engine or is it original. January 12, 201114 yr comment_341813 Thanks Glenn! It was road worthy, and it pains me every day that I cannot drive her around with bare metal exposed haha. Im checking out your blog, and I remember hearing about your Fairlady Z from my friend Ivan. Very very very very very nice find, and im happy you rescued it! Ah yes! I have spoken to Ivan a few times. Last I heard from him he purchased another toy to accompany his Hakosuka. Any idea what it was? I presumed it was a Fairlady Z, as during that time there was one up for same. Thank you for the complements, the Fairlady is getting some head work but should be back on the road soon Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/38166-new-member/#findComment-341813 Share on other sites
