logan1 Posted January 12, 2011 Share #1 Posted January 12, 2011 My car is painted a viper red and I need to pick a color for my front air dam, ZG flares, and hatch louvers. The logical chose would be to paint them gloss or flat black. But this combination has been done to death.I am looking for opinions on alternate colors to paint my front air dam, ZG flares, and hatch louvers that would look good on a red car. Gary in NJ Posted January 12, 2011 Share #2 Posted January 12, 2011 Why are you against having them matched to the body color?

FastWoman Posted January 12, 2011 Share #5 Posted January 12, 2011 Maybe a different shade in the same color family? Maybe a maroon?
olzed Posted January 12, 2011 Share #6 Posted January 12, 2011 A mid to dark brown can look OK. It doesn't sound much, but can look quite classy. Hang some different coloured paper or fabric over the areas to give an indication. I also like a cream colour. Not tooo white.
ZCurves Posted January 12, 2011 Share #7 Posted January 12, 2011 How about a Charcoal Candy Black or Argent Candy. Something dark but not 'black'. I think that the Candy effect would be sharp.

Zs-ondabrain Posted January 13, 2011 Share #11 Posted January 13, 2011 Have them wrapped in That real thin fake carbon Fiber.Silver or real reflective chrome spray?I agree with the different shade of red though. Maybe a darker red with flames or some pattern in it??
logan1 Posted January 13, 2011 Author Share #12 Posted January 13, 2011 Have them wrapped in That real thin fake carbon Fiber.I am very strongly considering that option. I think a CF wrap would look awesome especially since i sparrow tail spoiler is real CF with clear coat.
