Posted January 12, 201114 yr comment_341748 My car is painted a viper red and I need to pick a color for my front air dam, ZG flares, and hatch louvers. The logical chose would be to paint them gloss or flat black. But this combination has been done to death.I am looking for opinions on alternate colors to paint my front air dam, ZG flares, and hatch louvers that would look good on a red car. January 12, 201114 yr comment_341753 Why are you against having them matched to the body color? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/38222-any-color-other-than-black/#findComment-341753 Share on other sites

January 12, 201114 yr comment_341760 Maybe a different shade in the same color family? Maybe a maroon? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/38222-any-color-other-than-black/#findComment-341760 Share on other sites
January 12, 201114 yr comment_341783 A mid to dark brown can look OK. It doesn't sound much, but can look quite classy. Hang some different coloured paper or fabric over the areas to give an indication. I also like a cream colour. Not tooo white. January 12, 201114 yr comment_341784 How about a Charcoal Candy Black or Argent Candy. Something dark but not 'black'. I think that the Candy effect would be sharp. January 13, 201114 yr Author comment_341874 Have them wrapped in That real thin fake carbon Fiber.I am very strongly considering that option. I think a CF wrap would look awesome especially since i sparrow tail spoiler is real CF with clear coat.
