Parts from Mynissanparts.com

Danish 240z

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I have just ordered a few parts from Mynissanparts.com

Part numbers 12-13-14 from: http://www.carpartsmanual.com/datsuns30/DatsunFairladyZIndex/Steering/SteeringColumn/tabid/1745/Default.aspx

And now the seller is claiming that none of the parts will fit my European Datsun 240Z April 1971.

Can anybody confirm, or is the seller wrong?

Thank you! :)

I can't confirm or deny parts compatability and no prior experience with this vendor. But... if you cannot get good service (or any service) from these folks, I recommend you contact Courtesy Nissan in Richardson, TX. David and Butch at the parts counter have many years experience with Z's and are very resourceful with the old cars. Courtesy does a large international business and can probably help you with all your parts needs.

Hope this helps. Tell them Jim Arnett sent you!

Thank you! :-)

Yes, maybe i should go to Courtesy, they are more expensive on the same parts (But i think they know more than Mynissanparts!)

I write to Courtensy now, and ask them about the part compatability.

Okay, maybe I need to go to Winquist or import one from the US ($$$)

Have you seen that Lars Feldskov is selling his Datsun racecar (it was on danish numberplates last year at CHGP) for a whopping 370.000kr (49.000 Euro) http://www.racecarsdirect.com/listing/33186/Datsun_240Z_FIAHTP_Race_car.html

Please send your email in a pm :)
