January 26, 201114 yr comment_343472 By my thumbnail calculations the maximum safe offset for a 205 on the front of an S30 is about 20mm. What is missing here is the type of wheels that are giving luke002 trouble. WHOOOOOA there Walter. The offset should be zero for the tire he's using. January 26, 201114 yr comment_343474 definitely get new studs if you are putting anything bigger than a 5mm spacer, especially considering how short the original studs are as it. im running same tire, 205/60/15 with no spring rubbing. but i have 0 offset on my 15x8 rim. you have an offset issue. January 26, 201114 yr comment_343480 We are running 225/50x15 on 15x7 with about a 1/2 inch offset and the tires rub the front springs also. We use a 1/4 inch spacer and that cured the problem for us.
