January 26, 201114 yr Author comment_343461 Going on the calender...this will be a good oppurtunity to show the wife the Spruce Goose down in McMinnville as well. With the price of petrol, that you're willing to join us all the way from Ballard is truely an unexpected pleasure. C'mon. We are heading out this Saturday morning to lay out a route which should include "some" covered bridges. Seems there are several who think going on the pre-run will be more fun than cleaning the garage or some such. And yes the Spruce Goose is awsome!! Plus there is a ton of other aviation history there on display. All paid for with CIA dollars...... January 30, 201114 yr Author comment_343905 The Pre run is done. We had 8 vehicles and about a dozen folks and SUNSHINE. Don't think that wasn't a treat. We have laid out a straight forward route and will be providing pilot cars through out the group so map reading won't be a chore and we can all enjoy the scenery and driving experience. If you have concerns about not having done fun runs, this one is put together for you so c'mon out and join the fun.Julie will be posting details at www.datsunsnw.org shortly. February 6, 201114 yr comment_344782 A firm maybe. I'm flying to LA on the following Sunday, so a fun run on Saturday will depend on if I get all my have-to's done during the week. February 13, 201114 yr Author comment_345686 There was no question we were going to get out. They had predicted rain today all week so it was more a matter of what we were going to get out INTO..... Just about sundown the wind kicked up and the rain started to fall as today's inclement weather hit. What's that they say about a blind hog?
