Can someone please explain in simple terms, for an oldy, and newish to computers, how do I post a link to another website, on this forum, or highlight a word that takes you to another site. Sounds like a dumb question and i'm sure it must be simple, but I have not been able to figure it out.:stupid:

hi Olzed...you might want to check with the administrator first, to see if the link adheres to the rules...but posting a link is as simple as highlighting the URL (web address) e.g. http://www.classiczcars.com, copying it, then pasting into your post.

You can just highlight and copy by placing your curser at the beginning or end of an address, then press your left mouse button and hold it down as you move the pointer over the whole address. this will highlight it. then release the button, put the pointer over the highlighted address, RIGHT click your mouse, then choose "COPY". this puts the copy into an internal Clipboard.

Then go to your post (what ever you wanna say, as you did above this post). With your pointer on the area that you want to post the link, RIGHT click again, choose "PASTE" and the address should show up there.

Also, on this site, while writing a post, look above the writing box, you should see what looks like a Globe with a paperclip on it putting your pointer over it, it should read "Insert Link" click on that and a box will appear. it'll say "Please enter the URL of your link. The URL is the address you copied earlier. So right click, choose paste and MAKE SURE it only reads "HTTP://" once. or erase the highlighted "HTTP://" then paste your address.

Then After doing that, and hitting "OK" it will show up in the paragraphs.

it will show a Highted in Blue copy of the address, That is where you write in the title, like "Classiczcars" just like this......

No, those are purpose built racing engines with a couple of application for street rods/customs.

www.ripsltd.com/products.html - These are the babys to put in a Zed, and Nissan as well.

Also much more affordable.

www.kiwithunder.com/ - The Falconer V12 is used in this application as well. Pretty impressive.

The difference being that in New Zealand the RB block is plentiful. Here in America it is not. We use what is plentiful, the V8.

Also, there are certain "legalities" to contend with. Here in the US it has to do with smog laws. Since the RB block was never imported, it is not smog legal here.

If I was to do a engine swap, my first choice would be the RB block. But since parts are so hard to get, it's not in my budget.

The difference being that in New Zealand the RB block is plentiful. Here in America it is not. We use what is plentiful, the V8.

I guess we are lucky in that respect. We can use pretty much anything.(at this stage) Depending on budget.
