lonetreesteve Posted January 28, 2011 Share #1 Posted January 28, 2011 (edited) I never knew that Roadsters in this condition were worth this kind of money! SportBikeMike Posted January 28, 2011 Share #3 Posted January 28, 2011 Wow, I had no idea they were worth that kind of money either. Great-looking car.
motorman7 Posted January 28, 2011 Share #4 Posted January 28, 2011 1967 1/2 , 2000 Roadsters are the prize of the roadster releases. Low production rate...and beautiful cars.

Mike B Posted January 28, 2011 Share #7 Posted January 28, 2011 I imagine the full restoration by CDM helps justify the price too.-Mike
ajmcforester Posted January 28, 2011 Share #8 Posted January 28, 2011 OK someone is asking to much 31,000 and still below reserve. It's a nice car and I would love it if I fit, never been in one and over 6'4". The car is worth about 35,000 at most from what I see maybe sine their is a lot of bidding it might go for more. Bruce Palmer Posted January 28, 2011 Share #9 Posted January 28, 2011 Roadsters are a monumental undertaking price wise. Parts are very spendy and always have been. So if you see a done roadster with a high price tag, it's because someone has already done the "meltdown" doing it.
Unkle Posted January 28, 2011 Share #10 Posted January 28, 2011 This car looks mint but it just lacks the style and performance for me . This car is worthy of '' BaT '' comments though ( "Bring a trailer" ) ! $31000 + ? I'd rather go for a Pantera maybe......
Oiluj Posted January 28, 2011 Share #11 Posted January 28, 2011 This car looks mint but it just lacks the style and performance for me .You might be surprised by the performance of a strong 2000 roadster. Have no data or numbers, but took a ride in one a while back. My "seat-of-the-pants" evaluation is that acceleration and cornering felt similar to a strong 240Z, maybe even a bit better. That is one nice looking roadster! Bruce Palmer Posted January 28, 2011 Share #12 Posted January 28, 2011 Yeh 2 liters are strong runners. However, a friend of ours here lunched a timing chain on his going to Shasta several years ago and parts alone were $850 to him and he's in the parts biz.
