Ah yes, the Shelby Daytona. I saw one at the last N.A.S.A. event at Sears Point ( Infineon Raceway now). VERY FAST. I guess that's why I like the 240Z. It resembles that car, along with this one: Ferrari 275 GTB

well, not sure about the loss of the name gt40. but here is a photo from ford as they pulled back the cover on what they called the new gt40. Yes this car is another dream. I would rather have the old gt40 for me. (computer free HP here please)

Hey Drecord,

I was at the last NASA day at Infenion, that was a pretty cool event. Lot's of nice Cobra's at tha t one, if anyone would like to see Cobra pictures from that event let me know, i have some i can send around. I also have a couple of Z's from that event as well. If anyone ever wants to get on a track fairly cheaply and have some fun these are the events to do it at!

Z ya,

Paul

That was a great event. I was going to run at that event (my first one actually driving) , but the wife needed tires for her car (2000 celica gts), so I just didn't have the extra funds for registration and helmet (maybe Santa will get me a helmet for Xmas) Oh well, at least I was able to take my son out there, he's 2 yrs old. We were in row 1 in the Grandstands. While the drivers were in the starting grid, my son get yelling at them to GO!!!! he's already got the racing bug!!!!
