It wasn't the fastest car I've been in, but the most memorable was a ride in a 1963 Ferrari 250 Lusso. We were doing close to 90 on a turnpike in 2nd gear, and then 110 on a freeway in the Bay area, California when I was 5, which would make it some time in 1977. Ever since I haven't forgotten the scream of that smooth and high-revving Columbo V12...music to my ears! The same guy who owned that had a Ferrari 250 Lusso also. He has since sold both and has a 1935 Alfa nowadays. I'd keep the Ferraris myself!

Fastest for me was a 69 (project) vette with a 427, 6 barrel carb. It was owned by a guy that had a local speed shop called "Karbelt" - my brother took me for a brief spin and opened it out for about thirty seconds on a main road heading out of the city. It was a frightening experience that has left me with a discomfort of driving with my brother. It was g force that impressed me.

Otherwise I have to say my 300 TT is pretty fast, weight sensitive, but with just me in the car, I can get to uncomfortable speeds very quickly - it is modded a little and about 350 hp.

never been that fast in a car other than a few 130-140 mph sprints in my old camaro's.

I regularly visit 160+ on my motorcycles on the race track. I race WERA.

I drove 165mph in a prototype full-size pickup truck about nine years ago out in Death Valley. It was the 3rd gen SVT Lightning that never made it to production.

Fastest ride ever hmm if you don't count the 180+ mph motorcycles when I was young an dumb. It would have to be when I managed a local auto part store. Helped a customer build a 33 Willy with a blown 502 big block. Ran a 7:69 at Maple grove speedway sitting in the passenger seat of course. When the light turned green I couldn't move an inch and it was the best 8 seconds of my life.

66 GT40. Lit the tires up in 2nd gear then eased off. Not my car so couldn't afford the $1 mil + to find out how fast it could go . I'd settle for an SPF.

I drove an 1100hp 76 Corvette, and a 750hp SRT-8 Jeep. Both were impressive to say the least. I liked the Jeep better. I filmed the speedometer for a few seconds and captured 30mph -80mph in about 3 seconds in the Jeep.

Hands down, my brothers AMG Hammer, I think its late 80's or early 90's can't remember. It's one of the first made when AMG was not part of Mercades-Benz. That f#$King car is a rocket sled. We were doing 175 and the car had lots more to give.
