Don't ever tell Tony that flat tops are no good........

Heck, I'd love nothing better than for him to share what he knows about flat tops with me. :) I'm still running them on my 260Z, and I can't come up with a reason why I should swap them out. (Is that an invitation for the sheeple to start bleating about how the flat tops are no good? LOL I had to channel Tony for a moment.)

Zcar.com has seemed close to imploding for a while. I believe Tony D called it when he made an observation about traffic spiking around the school breaks.

The poor choice in forum software a while back just killed posting traffic. The new forum software fixed some of that, but let's face it, the search engine for Zcar.com is terrible. It's difficult to perform good research there anymore. It is sad because the site was a great resource.

Just looking around for a site where it's safe to mention YORGO and not be edited or put on a list in Lybia.

Isn't a Lybia part of a 'Lady Garden'...?

I think you might mean Libya, yes? If they've got a list, you probably deserve to be on it just for that.

I suppose we can look forward to the dregs of zcar.com pitching up here and stinking the place up. Oh joy.

Unfortunately I have gradually weaned myself away from Zcar. One can only take so much bickering about using the search button and reprimands about the lack of proper use of the English language. It amuses me how tough people get over the internet!

Still , it's a good thing people here TRY to use correct spelling and grammar.

The '' thumbspeak '' on other sites is like trying to decifer a text from my (slightly) younger relatives . Like , OMG like . ;) PS Alan you crack me up - Lady Garden and all ........

Unkle,

I agree with you. I certainly have a few grammar errors in some of my previous posts.

Let me add to your observation of thumb speak: Like & y'know as commas. W'sup! My bad! Or basically any texting used in general conversations.

Dude,

Have an f..ing nice day! Peace out!

For some reason I ended up doing most of my posting over at ZC.C and still cannot figure out why.

Habit I guess.

I will include a link to this thread 'over there' on a PM, (heaven forbid it gets mentioned and it's not directly Z car related) to those mentioned here.

Thanks for the re-welcome. If anyone has questions or comments you can always email me at johnath4lightsdotcom . I do have opinions and offer them but also try to help direct folks to answers which many times are not always to my advantage ($$$).

Hey, I own Z's and really like them, that's my interest.

I've been mostly lurking around on here more lately than I have been talking but I have to agree that your quote above concearns me as well.

Forgive me, but as far as zcar.com is concearned, it's no big loss. I made the switch over here back in 2003. This site is without question the best for classic Z enthusiast. ZCar.Com was getting so heavily polluted by so many yung kids (Not that all yung kids are bad :) ) but many wouldn't follow the rules of the site such as using it as there own personal chat room, posting topics under the wrong forums, ect. ect. and then when you would call them on it, Vince and Derick would do very little about it and many times they would accuse you of "Stirring the pot." I finally said enough is enough.

There were some good people over there that I miss but not many :stupid:

FWIW new administrator over there has taken the name of 'YUNGSTER' LOL

I'm hoping folks will migrate, even some of the more controversial older posters. They offer up knowledge and humor and this site has appropriate forums for those subjects.

But I do know now where to get the best deal on Viagra in Canada, (there is SPAM for that every morning now) plus all the key word advertising balloons, extra advertising before you log in mingled in the threads and arbitrary log outs every few minutes to just over an hour always in mid post.

It's a veritable smorgasbord of WTF next!?
