I have a question for esmit208, saw your post about the sandblasting. Curious as to how you are actually doing the sandblasting. Saw the blaster I think you posted from HF but how about containment, reclaiming the blast media, etc.?
Most if not all the sand falls into my driveway and then I just sweep it up. I don't use anything else that would cause environmental harm. Once the sand gets too fine to use I take it back to where I am getting the sand from and mix it with the sand that is already there. The amount of dust increases when the sand gets too fine but the neighbors are ok with it.

I picked up a mini needle scaler at a swap meet years ago, it is an ingersal/rand and is a little smaller than this one http://www.stlouispneumatic.com/scalers.htm but they work really well in these tight corners and don't make such a mess. Care must be taken on thin metals though, too steep an angle will punch through the metal.

You will have to have a compressor though. The SCALER will work with a 25 gallon compressor. I have a 60 gallon compressor I use with the sandblaster though. It will also accomodate a SCALER as well. The big thing is "DON'T BE IN A HURRY" get the right tools and the job is so easy it's really starts to feel like fun. If you are a Saturday Garage Guy (like me) you can never have enough tools and you always have a use for them.
