Hello My name is Ken Burt and yes I have worked on Zs for a long time.

At my own shop and Datsun/nissan dealers. I currently work with Vinnie Bedini at Preformance Specialties in New Milford, CT USA.

I have owned many Zs. now I am down to 2 Zs and a 2000. I also have three rally cars: 1600sss, Gp4 Violet GTS and a GpB 240RS.

I would like to build a proper Rally Z and I would like any help in getting the right parts.

I am looking forward to getting to know many of you.

Great to see you here. I too have owned, worked on and raced Z's for 40 years. Love them as much today as the first day I saw them. Had the pleasure of seeing Vinnie year before last at a CZCC Car Show. Back in the 70's our local Z Car Club {Clearwater Z Car Club} would always meet up with Bob Sharp and his crew at Daytona.

I'd love to see some pictures of your rally cars. I restored the 240Z that Peter Brock ran in the 73 Baja 1000 and 500. I'm sure that by todays standards the suspension is quite "old school", but it's a really neat car to drive even today.

Ken, are you interested in racing the car, or just building it as a tribute?

Ken-do you remember a Z shop in the South Windsor/E-Htfd area run by a guy in the late 70's early 80's.Tall,bald, Polish guy.

I plan on driving the Z in historic rally. Only if there was a true Hictoric class and or a true seires in the US.

That time frame I was on Long Island. The only time I went to CT. was to go to Bob Sharp or the CONN Classic Rally.

Vinnie has spoke of you and your car. I would love to someday (someway) to drive the

BRE Baja Z. Druing ther 60s and 70s my grand parents lived in Ridge Manor Fla (rt. 50

and rt.301) This is a nice part of Fla it is not so flat it has hills. I Will get so pictures up on line when I get the time.

I knew there was a hill in Florida somewhere. Up here in the NE there are a lot of rumors about Floridians, and over the hill? I never knew what hills they were referring to.

There are a few rally's that run through the US but I suppose none of them would have a vintage class? I spectated a few rally's here in upstate NY, and the one out in PA pretty recently. I think I even remember seeing an S30 run in one of them.

Small world ..... I am also originally from Long Island but been in south Florida since the mid 60's. Love the warm climate all year round.

An old girlfriend now lives in New Milford ....... Reservoir Road ...... believe with her huisband.

Hello Ken , I build a few 240z rally cars and we have a lot of expiriece with them , maybe i can help you with advice to use the right parts .
