Posted March 1, 201114 yr comment_347885 hi guys i'v got a problem with my reverse lights. When i change gear into reverse the lights will go burn. But when i loose the gearknob the lights go out.So i concluded that there is space between the switch and the position of the reverse gear. Can i adjust this of do i have to buy a new switch? If so were can i buy a reverse switch?thx for the help Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/38746-reverse-switch-isnt-working-correct/ Share on other sites
March 1, 201114 yr comment_347892 Have you looked at yours on the transmission to see if it has worked its way out of the mounting hole?I don't think that the switch is adjustable but you can remove it easily without any gear oil leaking out. March 1, 201114 yr comment_347909 Could also be worn linkage in the transmission or the inner shift boot being stiff / wrong or something else interfering and pushing the shifter/linkage over.
