jmortensen Posted March 3, 2011 Share #2 Posted March 3, 2011 The tires won't fill the rims, I can tell you that much.
Bruce Palmer Posted March 3, 2011 Share #3 Posted March 3, 2011 225s are only 9 inches wide at the sidewalls. Less than that at the beads.

spitz17 Posted March 3, 2011 Share #5 Posted March 3, 2011 I believe you can run 255s on the rear without much rubbage. At least that's what I remember from seeing my friend's Z. I'll have to double check. This picture has a very nice fitment. I love how the tires aren't stretched and fill the wheel well pretty well... I believe they are 15x8.5 fronts and 15x9 rears. Still trying to figure out what size the tires are though. Maybe 225 or 245.

boyracer88 Posted March 8, 2011 Share #7 Posted March 8, 2011 Wheels are Rota RB-Rs 17x9 -13 in front with 245/40/17 17x9.5 -19 in back wih 275/40/17 No rubbing with ZG flares but had to trim the front spoiler a little in the wheel wells (aside from the usual flare installation cutting) Oh, it's a 1972 240z
Zedyone_kenobi Posted March 8, 2011 Share #8 Posted March 8, 2011 boyracer, if that is your white Z, please paint the front spoiler to match, it will look so much better! And 225 on 10" rims can be done, but it will look positively ridiculous. I know some guys in the VW world do it but it is unsafe and hurts handling in more ways than I can get into.
