I've got a set of 15" American Racing 5 slots on my car.

Wow, just noticed your Silver 73 Z looks a lot like mine except I have the 14" rims.

Sorry but I don't like any of them. The wheels on my AVATAR are 16X17.5. Good gas mileage and I think they look good. They also fill the wheel well up nicely and also show the braking apparatus

I hope you mean 16x7.5!? Are you using spacers on your car? To me, they seem like hi-offset wheels.

Found this car in the classifieds.

this would be an example of what the VTO's would look like in a 14" size...

In another words, they look awesome.

Here are actual VTO Retro 4's in 14x5.5 on a 510. Sorry about the sad shape of the 510, that is what many years of SCCA improved touring does to a car.

Awesome write up, OP! I've been searching for anything to teach me more about the aftermarket wheel industry for the S30. I want to do this right the first time, so I'm reading and viewing everything I can on wheels so I'll be happy with the set when I complete the car and make it road worthy.

They look like the 14" Western wheels on my z. They were on the car when I bought it in '75.
