Hey guys,

my local Japanese book store has I believe two copies of the "Racing Skyline" video that Alan just mentioned above... Although they retail for only 2500yen in Japan (which would come out to between $12 and $17 here depending on the exchange) - the bookstore doubles the price and sells them for roundabout $35.-

I have my own copy and love it to pieces - turn up the sound system and listen to the S20 at 8000rpm and the hairs on the back of my neck stand up every time....

If somebody wants the video - email me! I can go fetch it and mail it out USPS 3Day Priority.... Total it is one hour long and in Japanese and in US-friendly NTSC VHS format...

Thank you gentlemen - much appreciated.

I shall be visiting the bestmotoring web site in the next hour....

:classic:

I expect that I could also get a copy from some of the Jap importers here in Adelaide (most likely JMS - www.japanesemotorsport.com.au.

I have no care for NTSC - every video player I've got supports both formats, plus I'll probably use my Digital camcorder to passthrough to my PC (that way I can make it into a DVD or SVCD). If anyone want's to digitise the really old stuff, I have no problem with transferring a GB or two to get it here!

As for the DR30 Super Silhouette, I've just received my EBBRO 1:43 model of it from www.ewacars.com. I've also got a number of Fairlady's & a C110 GT-R

My DR30 is also Red on Blue so it looks a bit like the Super Silhouette, minus the huge guards, tyres, LZ20BT engine, etc, etc.
