Looks good Randy. What is the black coating on the bottom of the car? Where did you get the blue reproduction interior pieces (door panels, seats, and plastic panels)?

-Mike

Hey Mike,

All the interior came from Les, even the carpet.

Since I wasn't doing a concours car I went a little overboard and used Por-15 then some Schutz coating a few weeks later. That's the coating you see in the pictures.

I may have added a little weight, but figured it would be worth it if my great, great, great, grandkids ever want to drive the car..........:classic:

Randy, what did you use to replace the plastic riser piece that goes at the top of the lip between the rear and front of the car (see pic)? Looks like you found something new or came up with a good replacement!

Awesome restoration. I can tell you from first hand experience that polishing a set of carbs like that requires an insane amount of time and effort.

In fact my carbs took so much work that I have decided not to put them on my Z. they sit on my desk in my office and I treat them like a work of art.

Hat's off to you for doing the work and using them!
