April 3, 201113 yr comment_351862 I'm running a set on one of my coupes, pretty happy with it, alot of people don't seem to like them though for tuning purposes... April 3, 201113 yr comment_351895 I'm running a set on one of my coupes, pretty happy with it, alot of people don't seem to like them though for tuning purposes...The only thing I can imagine in those situations where guys are hating tuning SU is that they are chasing carbs that are 90% worn out. At that stage of life, yes they can be a pain to tune because they won't hold a tune. It's safe to say that a set of SUs once returned to square one i.e. rebuilt, are the easiest carbs out there to keep up with..... oh, there's that pesky check oil in the dampers a couple of times a year thing but other than that.....
