Also, Julie got pictures from the Fun Run earlier this month up at www.datsunsnw.org.

Register early and often for Canby and don't be shy about checking into the "volunteer link" on the Canby page. Donate a little time and don't be afraid to spend a little dough with the club if you would like to see the event go forward. Times are tough and these events don't happen by accident....

Bruce, I'm gonna PM you here in a bit. Got a few questions for you.

To all others, I'll be there with Leah and the 70' 240Z. We hope to have plenty to offer this year.

I'd love to do a Vendor spot but only bringing the Z doesn't allow for the 9'X9' tent AND Product. We were gonna stay the night but we never know what the weather will be like and if we stayed the night, we'd have to bring all the Vendor stuff AND the camping stuff.

Not really possible in a 240Z. Guess it's time to make a Tow hitch and and mock up a miny Z shaped trailer??? Maybe?

I guess time will tell. But either way, we'll definately be there on Sunday for the show.

Deanna is waffling, but I suspect I will be there on Sunday. Did not pre-reg this year, as last year's experience with only 2 cars in my category left something to be desired. Decided I'd enjoy it more parked with friends - so if others are registering, I'll register. If not, I'll park in the non-judged area like we always have.

Pretty quiet on this. Weather is beginning to look like it will cooperate for the weekend. Going to have two or three cars leaving from Eugene at 7:00 AM, to meet with the PDX crowd at the rest area as normal.

If there are others from Eugene or farther South who want to caravan up with us, shoot me a message.

Me and Leah are leaving at 5:30, to try and be there before the 9am train leaves the station.

Bringing some upgrades if anyone is interested. Never got a cal from DNW so I won't have a booth.

Just come find me.

See ya'll there.

For any of you not on Northwest Zs current notification list - the rest area group is going to try to leave the rest area for the final drive into Canby at 9:00 AM sharp this year, not 9:30 to 9:45 as in prior years. So plan to leave a bit earlier than you may have in the past.

Dave Irwin,

Know why you didn't get a call from DNW? Cause old dummy here didn't hit send apparently when emailing the prez with a request to call you.

Stop by the booth and we can do some public flogging or something.... Sorry....

Oh, and for those of you burning up across the country, the weather man here is calling for sixty-eight degrees for a high both days this weekend.

Don't worry about it Bruce. Not a big deal. It's probably better that I didn't get one. Using the 260Z tires and wheels, with a full tank of gas, passenger and all that crap for a booth would cause it to rub, all the way there. So I'm keeping the load light. Besides, I could have always called him, but just way too damn busy and it was more of a "Thought" than anything else. But thanks.

The weather channel for Portland says clowdy in the AM but clears up and will be in the mid to high 60's, pefect Car event weather.
