Posted April 11, 201113 yr comment_352471 Thinking about buying a 240z with severe rear collision damage! It looks to me that the car need to be cut in half just in front of the rear strut towers. My question is would the back half/quarter from a (early) 260z (the one with the small bumpers) line up? Would there be any differences in the floor, strut towers, body lines, anybody can think of? Assume i'm cutting the car just in front of the rear wheels to the roof line in front of the hatch. I have a pretty solid rear from a early 260z already. Thanks in advance! J. April 12, 201113 yr comment_352491 An S30 is an S30 they are some changes but minor compare to what you are about to do. I am not a body man but I can not think of a reason why it would not work. the Gas tank is about the only thing I can think is different everything elese should line up. I imagine you have done a unibody before. If not consult with people that do this type of work.
