I don't like the changes , but I seem to be here anyway.

I know , not constructive criticism , but I liked the simplicity of the old site.

Can we opt out for a '' classic view " ?

ditto, threads get burried and you have to jump through hoops to find them again, this is only an improvement if you are a compugeek.

I'll have to agree with the last several posts. "latest club action" is not very user friendly as it is just a back door way of getting to latest thread and continuity with the thread is lost. I have been using the "what's new?" portal to view posts to latest threads similar to the old format. In order to view the last several days of threads and postings, I had to go to the search function at the top of "what's new?", put in the chronology for the time period desired, and then it would show how ever many days I wanted to review. This would need to be done every time I wanted to review postings, where-as the old format would allow you to go back as far as you wanted to review threads ON THE HOME PAGE.

I, too, do really appreciate all that you have done to keep this site the best 240-z web on-line. I can, also, appreciate the need for updating and change for greater efficiency, but perhaps it may be possible to incorporate the familiar simplicity of the old with the greater efficiency of the new.

Thanks, Mike, for all that you do.

Dan

LOL it does seem a bit too busy, I run the same software on my club's forum, it probably would have been best to roll it out in pieces, such as Forum first and then the other parts of the suite program one at a time letting people get used to it instead of all at once, it can be overwhelming.

I actually took the CMS and Blog offline as people were getting confused and posting in the blog or CMS as if it were the forum and just got to be a mess

Call me old school but my vote goes to the way it was before. I'm not at all a computer guru so this new changed site is giving me a migraine :dead: but who the hell am I to judge. Mike is working hard and doing a damn fine job. No way could I do it any better :D

LOL I am old school like all of you! I miss the old usenet forums so I may be even older. I think the Zcar.com content manager from 5 years ago was easiest and fastest to navigate.

The software here is very powerful and pretty but content is too distributed and buried. As well the server seems very slow as pages take a long time to transfer compared to other sites I am browsing at the same time.

If it ain't broke don't fix it.
