April 14, 201113 yr comment_352749 I'm no expert but if you choose not to cut the original metal the car will sit very high???It will also give a massive gap between tyre and arch. April 14, 201113 yr comment_352753 You have to cut the car to make the flares look right. If you don't it will look like a 4 wheel drive truck. I would recommend to search the web for as many pictures as possible to get the correct location for the flares. You will noticed not all are the same. Take your time and cut once! April 14, 201113 yr comment_352796 I'm doing 17'x 9.5's in the rear of my 260Z with 17"x 8's in front. I chose Hankook 275/40ZR17 for the rear and 245/45ZR17's for the front. you can follow the process here.....http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3195135/1974-datsun-260z/page-4Don't know if that helps you but there it is...Dave Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/39223-fit-the-right-wheels-for-zg-flares/#findComment-352796 Share on other sites
