Ebay Electric Fans

I have a 73 240Z with 5speed. I have purchased the MSA 3 row radiator and have realized that the fan will probably be to close when soft mounted. I am looking at two different ebay kits.

This one has an adjustable thermostat.

This one has a preset thermostat to turn on at 180.

Does anyone have any experience with either of these kits or can point me to a better kit.
