I made a few changes to the server to help improve a few things:
1) http cookie. After upgrading to our new software I noticed that cookies were being stored on client computers without our domain. This had a tendency to allow the cookie to expire when a member entered either the gallery, PM's, or the classifieds. I changed it so all modules use the same cookie storage domain as .classiczcars.com. After testing, it appears to work fine.
2) Performance. I've been seeing a performance impact after the update. Our standard SQL and HTTP configurations were not configured correctly. Today I was able to find some recommended settings and made these changes to the config files accordingly. After a few tests, the new config appears to be working fine and has increased performance at least on my end. Have things improved overall? I'll give it a few days to see.
Thanks for your patience!
Mike
