Posted May 4, 201113 yr comment_354740 I got it off of ebay about two years ago. It's in pretty good shape, although it could use a paint job. It fits fine, but its a little bigger around, and it has those horn buttons on the spokes. I like the horn buttons, as they make it easier to honk the horn, something I find I need to do a lot in such a little car. Just the other day an idiot in a hummer started backing right into me in a parking lot. I don't think he could see me, he was sitting so high. Anyway, does someone know what Datsun from which it came? May 4, 201113 yr comment_354754 It reminds me of some Grant steering wheels, except the Grant's didn't have the horn in the space in the spokes.Could also be from a Mustang II.E Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/39459-what-is-this-steering-wheel-from/#findComment-354754 Share on other sites
May 4, 201113 yr Author comment_354757 I'm pretty sure it's from a Datsun, because it came with that standard Datsun horn pad. The pad even fits the original stock wheel from my car. ...unless maybe that pad would fit on another brand of wheel? May 4, 201113 yr comment_354759 I've seen pictures of that wheel before. Can't recall what other Datsun model it came from. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/39459-what-is-this-steering-wheel-from/#findComment-354759 Share on other sites
May 4, 201113 yr comment_354772 The Mustang II had smaller buttons on the wheel, if I remember correctly. The composite wood shouts Datsun in how it is made. I like the wheel, but a bigger diameter wheel is not for me 6'4" tall I need the room. My biggest dislike about the factory wheel is the diameter, it's to thin.
