Posted May 14, 201113 yr comment_355689 Well I am replacing my clutch slave and master to hopefully fix the problem of my clutch pedal not getting any pressure. Well the slave is replaced and the problem still persists, so while trying to get the master off, the fitting for the line won't come off which in terms has stripped it. Look likes I need a whole new line, but I need the size and length of the main line so I can make one.Any help on the line issue, or just my clutch issue in general would be wonderful. (and yes I tried bleeding the system to gets some pressure back in the pedal but that didn't work.) May 14, 201113 yr comment_355698 Measure it with a chunk of 14-16 gauge wire snaked along its length. its 3/16 brake line with 10 x1.00 mm threaded brake line nuts. Any decent car parts shop has premade lines, just need one thats long enough and maybe a tubing bender. May 15, 201113 yr Author comment_355887 Thanks guys. It's about 51 inches just in case anyone cares to know. I have my new line in Too bad I can't get the pin to connect my new clutch master arm to the clutch pedal. That is just one evil process! May 16, 201113 yr comment_355892 Yes, that clevis pin is quite a joy. I replaced my clutch master two and a half weeks ago. It certainly tried my patience. Just keep trying. It will eventually go in. May 16, 201113 yr comment_355942 A small child, 5-10 years old, isn't a normal toolbox item, but could come in handy for this job. I used a very long pair of needle nose plyers, took the seat out and got very uncomfortable.
