We've taken off the hot water heat for the intake manifold.

Do I need to plug the old holes where the water tubes were in the manifold?

I'm thinking I don't but I could use some re-assurance!

I bought the Z Therapy carbs and manifolds for use without the water and those ports have a plug in them. Perhaps for appearance? One would think it would just be an open hole and wouldn't matter much though....

I just removed the water line from my intake last weekend. The water path is isolated from the intake so the open ports won't impact the funcionality of the intake, but I plugged the ports just to keep any debris out in case I had second thoughts down the road. I stuffed some large rubber vaccum caps in the holes backwards (open end in). Proper fitting aluminum plugs would be ideal, but the caps look nice and they shouldn't go anywhere.

I bought some plugs and went to put them in last night but the inners don't fit, I think thay might be a metirc size.

No, seriously guys.... the reason you want to plug those holes is so they won't whistle while you are driving.....

Is the inner thread size metric? The standard plugs I bought won't thread in.

No, actually you can go ahead and throw the BS flag as that's what it was.

What Steve uses is small freeze plugs with some teflon tape or some such to hold 'em in. Perdy and silver and chicks dig'm.....
