May 27, 201113 yr comment_356971 Blue is correct. And its not missing a nut. The threads are in the steering coupler that its currently screwed into. No nut needed. May 27, 201113 yr Author comment_357003 Hmm.....interesting. When I turn the wheel all the way to the left and return to death straight the steering wheel tend to move slightly over to the left side, not straight. Same thing happen when I turn to the right as well. I guess is the alignment problem then if the steering bolt is not the cause. Thanks guys, appreciate the help.Ed Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/39696-whats-the-thread-size-of-this-bolt/#findComment-357003 Share on other sites
May 27, 201113 yr comment_357005 I see lots of poly bushings in your photo so it may be a tie rod/alignment issue or slop or wear in your rack. However the steering can become sloppy if the steering rack to cross member bushings fail or if the U clamps holding them are loose : You may also wish to try this easy adjustment: http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/steering/racktension/ Edited May 27, 201113 yr by Blue Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/39696-whats-the-thread-size-of-this-bolt/#findComment-357005 Share on other sites
