I guess I could take it back to the chrome shop, but it is in Asia so the costs could be a little prohibitive (). Guess I'll just have to use some of the money I saved on the chrome plating to hire an upholstery shop to do a little sewing. I learned a key lesson here.......when farming out specialty work such as chroming, do all of the dis-assembly and re-assembly myself and just leave them with the task of performing their specialty. Anyway, thanks again for all of your help on this.....without the aid of the detailed pics that you sent me, I'd still be wondering why I can't fit those round pegs into square holes:)

Sometimes you ask...can he be trusted? Yes, I wanted other club members to know that I purchased several parts from 9teen7t240z (He is in Arizona) recently. Very straight forward guy, we met through Datsun Classifieds.com site. Reasonable prices and the items were exactly as described and he shipped them very carefully packaged. I received them today. Fortunately, I did find an automotive and marine upholsterer who will restitch all of my belts (with the correct clips/buckles/connectors) for the princely sum of $20. and beer. Now, I have a new dilemna:

Heineken or Burgermeister?

Six pack, 12 pack, or full case?

Bottles or cans?

So many tough decisions to make when restoring these cars......
