Can I just unplug tranny cooler lines and leave the radiator with nothing attached to the tranny cooler part? Or do I have to swap radiators, too? Thanks!Justin Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/39788-swap-to-manual-what-about-radiator/ Share on other sites
June 4, 201113 yr comment_357748 Yup, just disconnect the lines and ignore them. Most replacement radiators have the transmission cooler these days, and they sell them as one-fits-all. June 5, 201113 yr comment_357815 I've heard that the tranny cooler can be used as an oil cooler. Anyone here plumbed that in? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/39788-swap-to-manual-what-about-radiator/#findComment-357815 Share on other sites

June 5, 201113 yr comment_357822 I've heard that the tranny cooler can be used as an oil cooler. Anyone here plumbed that in?I'm sure it could be done, but the benefit (if any) would be tiny. There really isn't much "cooler" to the simple loop that runs through the bottom of the radiator.
